On September 12, 2005, Leet Township enacted Ordinance 2005-04 establishing the licensing and inspection of all rental units, a schedule for inspections of said units by the Township Code Enforcement Officer, a fee schedule for the licensing of these units, and penalties for violation of this ordinance.

This Ordinance requires:

• that all owner/landlords register their rental property with the Township annually;
• that a license for the property is issued by the Township;
• before a license is issued, an occupancy permit shall be issued by the Township Code Official;
• each license is good for one year.
